Mother Daughter Tea
Each spring, the Delta Tau chapter hosts a Mother-Daughter Tea at the Phi Mu house. This is an opportunity for our mothers, grandmothers, and sisters to mingle with each other and with our Phi Mu sisters. This year with COVID regulations, we were unable to do a tea, however we adopted a "Mother-Daughter Paint Party" where we got to paint our canvas or art piece of choice with our moms.
Father Daughter Cookout
Each Fall, we host our annual Father-Daughter Cookout at a local park where we get to bring our fathers or father figures to enjoy a meal with our sisters and their families. It is always a huge hit, and it sure makes our dads happy to see how much we enjoy this sisterhood. We were unable to hold this event last fall due to COVID, but with restrictions being lifted, our cookout will be returning this Fall!
Finally, we also have a Parents' Weekend event during WKU's Parents' Weekend each fall. This event is typically held at the Phi Mu house or on South Lawn right before the football game. It's a great opportunity for Phi Mu parents to show off their Hilltopper pride!
